ECO, “smart” awards were given at this year’s TIF in the context of the Green Innovation competition for Environment and Climate Change “Greenathon | Beyond Green Technologies”.
The contestants were invited to propose solutions and innovative ideas in the field of environment and in particular in the following 6 thematic units: Forest Protection and Rehabilitation / Water and Marine Life Management / Climate Change and Circular Economy / Energy / Urban Sustainability and Smart Green Cities / Mineral Raw Materials.
EYATH participated in the jury for the evaluation of the awards with its chemical engineer Vasiliki Batziaka. The purpose of the judges was to highlight the best technological solutions on important issues such as environmental protection and tackling the climate crisis. The competition was organized by the General Secretary for Natural Environment and Water of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, in collaboration with the Organization for Natural Environment and Climate Change (OFYPEKA). EYATH participated, together with EYDAP and EOAN, as a sponsor of the event.
