Gift vouchers for consumables of approximately 1,000 euros were handed over to the “Melissa” Girls’ Orphanage by the EYATH administration, as a minimum contribution to the great work it performs.
“Positive thinking and solidarity are our way of staying optimistic. The planning of the actions for the next day of the pandemic and mainly of the actions of social responsibility is the path that we choose for a better tomorrow “, pointed out the president of EYATH, Agis Papadopoulos. “EYATH is glad to assist in any way it can the work of organizations with a social contribution, such as yours”, said the CEO of EYATH, Anthimos Amanatidis, to the Chairman of the Board of “Melissa” Theophano Papazisis, who received the gift vouchers, and even promised to explore alternative ways to enhance the work of the institution.
Mrs. Papazisis, accompanied by E. Vogiatzis, president of the “Melissa” association, presented the daily struggle of the foundation to stand on its own two feet, offering decent services to the minor girls it hosts, and especially its precarious financial situation due to meager funding. “Any offer accepted”, Mrs. Papazisis summed up her appeal and together with Mrs. Vogiatzis they expressed their gratitude to the management of EYATH.
