In the 88th TIF focusing on sustainability

With the eyes on sustainability, EYATH “goes” to this year’s 88th TIF, promoting its action in the tripartite ESG and the sustainable development policies it follows.

For another year at Pavilion 15, stand 40, visitors will be able to see digital material from the new, innovative technologies applied by EYATH in its everyday operations, with the cutting edge of the supply of electricity from wind and photovoltaic parks (PPAs), actions for people and the local community, such as the cleaning of the seafront of Thessaloniki, and also the new electronic services it provides to its consumers through the MyEyathPortal and the myEYATH app.

In particular, MyEyathPortal now enables us to receive personal notifications of scheduled water outages in our area, with updates on the progress of the work and a forecast for the restoration of the water supply. Easily and immediately via e-mail or a notification on our mobile phone, so that we can take our measures in time. Also, we can now make an appointment very simply through the portal for our transactions with EYATH, with information on the exact location on the map, as well as all the supporting documents that we must have with us. We can keep a history of our transactions and even receive a timely reminder via e-mail or notification in the application to confirm or cancel the appointment from our computer or mobile.

It should be noted that our communication with EYATH becomes much more direct through the new communication system of MyEyathPortal, since ready answers are provided on issues that concern a lot of citizens. Communication takes place through a friendly chat environment, where all correspondence is presented until an issue (communication request) is resolved, while at the same time there is access to the history of all our communication requests. It is very important that we can find out about the quality of water in Thessaloniki and of course find out what water we drink in our area of residence. For those who carry out all their transactions via mobile, the full-featured myEYATH app (for Android and iOS) is available.

On September 8, 9 and 13, 14, 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., a children’s “corner” will operate again this year at the stand, with the trainers of the Telloglio Foundation, AUTH presenting samples of their work for the new school year at the Water Supply Museum of Thessaloniki. Constructions, tabletop, painting and games about the water cycle and its protection will be available to the young visitors of the stand, constituting an… open invitation to visit our museum.

The exhibition will be open again this year every day, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m., and on weekends, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
