The possibility of collaborations and the exchange of know-how were explored during a two-day visit by EYATH executives to water supply and sewerage facilities in North Macedonia, following an invitation from ADKOM (Association of Public Utility Service Providers of the Republic of North Macedonia).
The EYATH executives visited water supply facilities in Štip and treatment plants in Kočani and Gevgelija—which feature extensive photovoltaic system networks—and were briefed in detail on their operational models and the benefits of utilizing renewable energy sources (RES) at their facilities, while exchanging experience and know-how. At the headquarters of the Skopje Public Water Supply and Sewerage Company, they had the opportunity to observe the operation of the water supply systems as well as the wastewater treatment plant currently under construction.
EYATH is committed to the view that developing collaborations with international entities contributes significantly to the transfer of know-how and the adoption of best practices, thereby strengthening the overall sustainable development of the water supply and sewerage sector.
