Anthimos Amanatidis, CEO of EYATH, and Prodromos Manolakis, President of DEYA Chios, discussed the next steps of their collaboration at the company’s headquarters in Thessaloniki.
The two parties—who signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in February 2024 regarding the provision of water supply and sewerage support services by EYATH to DEYA Chios—are now proceeding with an on-site inspection and assessment of the municipal utility’s water treatment facilities. This follows an initial assessment by EYATH personnel of the existing disinfection status in the settlements and an identification of needs, alongside proposals for the safe and optimal operation of disinfection systems. Additionally, tender documents were submitted for the supply and installation of chlorination equipment, as well as for the operation and maintenance of local chlorination stations.
Messrs. Amanatidis and Manolakis, reaffirming their collaboration, agreed that significant strides have been made toward strengthening public health, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and enhancing the reliability of the region’s water supply networks.
