Vasiliki Adamidou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She studied English Literature at the Aristotle University and continued with postgraduate studies at Queen Mary University of London (International Marketing and Management, MSc). She attended international training programs in the UK and USA.
She worked in large companies as Marketing & PR Management, such as ELVIAL. Since 2010 she has been in positions of high responsibility at Lidl Hellas. Today, as Head of Corporate Affairs and CSR Management, she synthesizes and directs the company’s strategy in critical areas, such as corporate communication and corporate affairs, sustainable development, communication crisis management and the overall network of relationships and negotiations with all stakeholders, both in Greece and abroad.
Among her activities what stands out is her participation in the United Nations Organization, where she represents our country for human and business rights from 2017 until today, and in the EBRD working group, in the context of the formulation of national and European food waste reduction regulation policy. She has collaborated and continues with many international organizations on issues of sustainable development, ESG, climate strategy, corporate governance, women empowerment (European Union, United Nations, International Labor Organization (ILO), Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Stavros Niarchos Foundation, Latsis Foundation, A. C. Laskaridis Foundation, Ministries of Development, Tourism and Environment).
In all her initiatives, the driving force is the narrative vision of collective benefit, through the use of innovative methods. She has a high sense of common interest. Her priority is the optimal coordination of available resources, so that each time the maximum possible result is achieved, especially under demanding and dire conditions.
