EYATH will be participating in this year’s 84th TIF with a booth in its booth combining environmental sensitivity and the idea of re-use with social solidarity!
In particular, EYATH will be hosting this year’s “Art Scheme” stand, a program to reuse the well-known “Schedia” street magazine, which promotes handmade, unique products made from unmatched magazine covers and environmentally friendly materials. Visitors will have the opportunity to see high quality aesthetic everyday products, all made by our homeless or fellow citizens living below the poverty line and viewing through this particular employment prospects program and above all an outlet to the social exclusion they are experiencing. At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to browse the new, updated website of the company and see how they can be serviced electronically by avoiding physical presence and … and will also be informed about the new customer service offices at 6 Aggelaki St., next to KEP.
On September 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th and 15th, from 6 to 9 pm, a children’s corner will again be set up in the kiosk, with the Tutorial Foundation’s AUTH instructors presenting samples of the work to be done on the new school year at the Thessaloniki Water Museum. Children will learn imaginatively the “dos” and “don’ts” of water consumption and leave with a drop-in magnet for their refrigerator, reminding them daily of simple ways to save this precious natural resource. The exhibition will be open daily this year, 4 pm – 10 pm, and weekends, 10 am – 10 pm
