Support for the unemployed of EKTH

Supermarket gift vouchers worth 1,000 euros for our unemployed fellow citizens ahead of the holidays were presented to the president of the Thessaloniki Employment Center, Haris Kyprianidis, by the managing director of EYATH SA, Anthimos Amanatidis.

“The energy crisis, the pandemic crisis and the war in our European neighborhood have highlighted solidarity as our strongest weapon to move forward. Helping and caring for our unemployed fellow citizens is self-evident for a social responsibility company like EYATH. Happy holidays to everyone, with health and prosperity”, wished the managing director of EYATH, Anthimos Amanatidis.

The president of EKTH thanked EYATH S.A. “which in practice supports the “Unemployed Night”, an event of the Thessaloniki Employment Center in memory of the late president of Nikos Giannopoulos, which takes place every year during the Christmas period and aims to support long-term unemployed families of Thessaloniki”. “EYATH’s support comes at a special juncture due to the energy crisis and the government should do the obvious, so that the costs are not passed on to the citizens and the price of water, a public social good, is not increased”, he added.

The EYATH gift vouchers will be distributed at the event of love and solidarity organized by EKTH just before Christmas for the unemployed of our city.
