“This year we are pursuing high financial figures and further growth for the company, with respect for the environment, social sensitivity and acceleration of our digital processes. The uncertainty caused by the development and duration of the pandemic calls us to optimize the good practices that were implemented during this period and to proceed with a structured action plan in the implementation of our development program. We will work to improve our infrastructure and productivity, with new investments in technology projects, reducing energy costs, saving resources and protecting the environment. Important upcoming projects are the repair of the Aravissos aqueduct, the maintenance of large water supply pipelines in order to reduce leaks, the completion of the sewerage network in Western Thessaloniki and especially the expansion of the Thessaloniki Water Treatment Plant, “said the CEO of EYATH SA, Anthimos Amanatidis. “At the same time, given the conditions created by the health crisis we are experiencing, we are focusing on adapting and optimizing our electronic transactions, in order to ensure the security of our human resources and consumers,” added Mr. Amanatidis.

“In 2019, we have formed at EYATH the ‘map’ of the future for the water supply and sewerage of Thessaloniki. This year, the projects we have put into operation will proceed at a rapid pace, provided that there are no major problems. Our goal remains to provide high quality services to the consumer, ensuring the viability of the water ecosystem, for the benefit of the company, its employees, shareholders and the local community of Thessaloniki “, stressed the president of EYATH SA, Agis Papadopoulos.
