At the DEYA of Chios with GIS technologies

Provision of expertise and technical support in GIS and net metering matters to reduce energy costs is provided for, among other things, in the memorandum of cooperation signed by EYATH with the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Chios (DEVACH) at the company’s headquarters, at Egnatia St. 127.

In particular, the memorandum, signed by the managing director of EYATH Anthimos Amanatidis and the chairman of the Board of Directors of DEVACH Prodromos Manolakis, foresees the mapping of water supply and sewerage networks with field work and the creation of geographic data (GIS) of networks and facilities, the creation of infrastructure in GIS information systems, as well as the provision of expertise in net metering and methodologies for reducing energy costs in water supply facilities – drainage. The two sides will also cooperate on the replacement of old, non-functional wells and the extraction of new ones, in the field of water disinfection with the presentation of best practices by EYATH, but also on issues of cleaning and upgrading drainage facilities, replacing the relevant electromechanical equipment and management of the company’s fleet of machines and vehicles.

“EYATH already provides know-how in the Balkans and Cyprus. We are now a modern best practice boutique company in the SE Europe region. We respond to modern challenges with extroversion and innovation, and our cooperation with Chios is part of this exact framework”, pointed out the managing director of EYATH, Anthimos Amanatidis.

The provision of technical support by EYATH (specifically through its subsidiary EYATH Services) will concern both the consulting part and the operational part (procurement, implementation). The purpose is, with the technical and scientific guidance of EYATH’s experienced and specialized executives, DEVACH to optimally manage its human and financial resources, saving time and ensuring a long-term return on investment and, of course, optimal results.

DEVAX is currently in the process of developing and rationalizing its operations at the level of network management, facility operation and digitization of processes in a wide range of water supply and sewerage activities, with the aim of reducing the company’s operating expenses, increasing revenues and optimizing services to the final consumer.
